A short but sweet service announcement: The White House can now place an order via USPS for four free at-home rapid COVID-19 tests to be sent to your home. You can place an order here or directly from USPS here.

The order system is currently in beta testing by the Biden administration. Each household can only place one order, so if there are more than four people in your house, you are out of luck on additional free tests. 

Orders are expected to begin shipping in late January.

If you live in apartment building and the system only recognizes the first order from that address, stay tuned because the White House is aware and working to fix that glitch.
